About Me

Pernille Damgaard is a native of Danmark and has lived in Southern California since 1997. Where she attended the Laguna College of Art and Design, majoring in Illustration and Animation. She enjoys simple things like rain on a sunny day, or light reflecting off the curve in the road on the freeway, or a pair of white butterflies sharing a kiss in a dirty back alley-way, and she likes to include these little life-treasures in her artwork. Her art is about everything from death, love and sexuality to silly everyday musings and observations. She’s a pretty strange girl, but she likes it that way.
